Tim May

Tim May moved to Petaluma in 1968 when he started teaching at Petaluma High School. He retired from teaching at Mary Collins School thirty some years later. He is married, has three adult children and one grandson. He grew up in New Jersey and Southern California. After he retired, he was able to indulge his twin interests in travel and photography. He met his co-author Phil Douglis at a photo workshop in Santa Fe. They traveled together throughout the world making pictures. It turned out that they had unintentionally taken many images of the same subject. The book shows how two photographers can interpret the same scene differently.
