Steve Lubliner

A native New Yorker, Steven Lubliner now lives in Petaluma, California, north of San Francisco. His short play, "All My Big Men," was one of the winners of Sonoma County's Redwood Writers Club's 2013 ten minute play contest. It received nine performances at 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa, California in May 2014. At U.C. Berkeley, he won and finished third in two poetry contests, was later published in the Berkeley Poetry Review and made some beer money acting. He has finished second in The New Yorker's weekly cartoon caption contest. His book reviews have appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, The Recorder (legal newspaper) and a number of free weeklies. An attorney, he handles court-appointed appeals for indigent criminal defendants.
