Leena Prasad

Prasad is the author of "not exactly haiku", a collection of short thought poems, and of "iT felt Like A kiss", a book that explores the art personality of the Mission district of San Francisco. She is a freelance writer for The Press Democrat newspaper and India Currents magazine and has written for public radio KQED, Mission Arts Monthly magazine, and various other print and online periodicals and websites. She has also written, directed, and produced a few short films. Leena has a Journalism M.A. from Stanford University and published the South Asian literary magazine, Accent, prior to attending Stanford. At Stanford, she was a staff writer for the Stanford Daily. When Leena is not writing, she works with computer software for fun and funds.
