- Trione's business dealings in finance, real estate, lumber, and wine making led to the development of the city of Santa Rosa, Calif. He began by founding the Sonoma Mortgage Company, which merged with Wells Fargo Bank in 1968. Among other philanthropic endeavors, he helped establish Annadel State Park, Empire College, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, and the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County. He was also a founding investor in the Oakland Raiders, securing three Super Bowl rings before selling his interest. <br><br>Trione credits luck and strong partnerships for his success. His advice: "Whatever business you get intoâ€¦you have to commit yourself completely to it." He also advocates for a sense of humor and having the confidence to put people at ease.
